Kei Kaneko vs Hajime Ikeda

Boxing Daily Report from the Paintsil Promotions promoted show at Kazuki Fujikawa Gym, Ichikawa,  taking place on 27/05/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Chiba Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kei Kaneko (2 - 8) who hails from Chiba, Japan and Hajime Ikeda(17(3) - 4(1)) from Matsudo, Japan.  Both Kaneko and Ikeda weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jiro Tobe, and the three ringside judges are Kenji Aoyama, Hideki Yanagi and Michi Sakamoto.  

Round 1: 

Ikeda lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Ikeda throws a right uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Ikeda clinches his opponent.  Ikeda is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ikeda closes the distance and walks Kaneko into the corner.  Ikeda drives a left uppercut into Kaneko's body.
