Daichi Kiyabu vs Yutaka Kurihara

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hyogo promoted show at Hikaru Anno Gym, Akashi,  taking place on 28/05/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hyogo Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Daichi Kiyabu (21 - 11(2) - 2) who hails from Amagasaki, Japan and Yutaka Kurihara(17 - 17 - 3) from Kobe, Japan.  Both Kiyabu and Kurihara weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jiro Matsubara, and the three ringside judges are Michi Morita, Kyo Maekawa and Nao Furukawa.  

Round 1: 

Kiyabu quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Kurihara sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Kiyabu manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Kiyabu is on target with a right hook.

Kiyabu closes the distance and tries to land a left hook, but Kurihara slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
