Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kisumu promoted show at Kisumu Kanda, Kisumu,  taking place on 28/05/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Kisumu Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leighton Chemutai (10(6) - 0) who hails from Kisumu, Kenya and Zachary Salih(8 - 10(1) - 6) from Kisumu, Kenya.  Chemutai weighed in at 175 pounds, while Salih weighed in at 174 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Udenwa Lalang, and the three ringside judges are Paul Babla, Peter Kirui and Peter Kirui.

Salih advances into close range and throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Chemutai holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Chemutai pushes his forearm into Salih's face.  The ref breaks Chemutai's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Chemutai is looking to keep his distance and lands a sharp cross.  
Salih throws a right hook, but Chemutai holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Chemutai pushes his forearm into Salih's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Chemutai about fouling.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Salih's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Salih's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Salih's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
