Rio Rueda vs Quintavius Ampomah

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Olympic Stadium, Montreal,  taking place on 23/06/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rio Rueda (38(33) - 3(2)) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Quintavius Ampomah(19(12) - 4(3)) from Pretoria, South Africa.  Both Rueda and Ampomah weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Briant Sarraute, and the three ringside judges are Destin Dauphin, Stephen Morton and Olier Paradis.  

Round 1: 

Ampomah lands a stinging overhand right.  
Rueda tries to step out of his opponents range and lands with a spiteful jab.  
Rueda lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Ampomah is on target with a sharp left hook to Rueda's body.  
Rueda steps away from his opponent and lands a ramrod jab.  
Ampomah is looking to close the distance and manouvers Rueda onto the ropes.  Ampomah throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Ampomah tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Ampomah lands a jab to the head, a jab to the body and an overhand right to the head.  
Ampomah advances into close range.  Rueda connects with a firm left hook.  
Rueda steps to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Rueda is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a jab.  
Rueda is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Ampomah lands with a spiteful jab.  
Rueda lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Ampomah advances into close range and is on target with a firm right hook to Rueda's ribs.  Ampomah attempts to land a left hook, but Rueda sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Rueda steps to the outside and lands with a hard jab.  
Ampomah throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a FIERCE left uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE AMPOMAH WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Rueda senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Ampomah and just needs the right shot.  Rueda lands a cross, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents head, AND DROPS AMPOMAH!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Ampomah now seems to have his senses back.  
Ampomah hits the target with a stiff jab.  
Rueda connects with a cross.  Rueda tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Rueda hits home with a cross.  
Rueda sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Rueda tries to land a jab, but Ampomah blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Rueda strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Ampomah tries to land a jab, but Rueda sidesteps and counters with a mean left uppercut.  AMPOMAH IS HURT!  
Ampomah is looking to close the distance.  Rueda knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Rueda lands a cross followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS AMPOMAH SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Ampomah now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ampomah's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Ampomah's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Rueda throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Rueda switches the action to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Rueda tries to keep the action at long range.  Ampomah tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Ampomah closes the distance and forces Rueda to retreat onto the ropes.  Ampomah lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Rueda lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head, DROPPING AMPOMAH TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Rueda thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Ampomah away.  Rueda lands a left uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS AMPOMAH SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Ampomah cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Rueda!
