Hobard Gienger vs Edel Perl

Boxing Daily Report from the RJM Boxing promoted show at Bigbox Allg�u, Munich,  taking place on 25/06/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Germany-Bavaria Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SPORT1, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hobard Gienger (23(20) - 2) who hails from Munich, Germany and Edel Perl(15 - 11(2) - 4) from Nuremberg, Germany.  Both Gienger and Perl weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Balwin Gelhaus, and the three ringside judges are Eckerd Birkhofer, Wendell Jahr and Errol Piel.  

Round 1: 

Gienger pivots to the left of his opponent.  Gienger attempts to land a left hook, but Perl sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Gienger is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  Gienger clinches his opponent.  Gienger pushes his forearm into Perl's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Gienger leans on his opponent using all his weight. Gienger is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Gienger lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Gienger closes the distance.  Perl throws a right hook, but Gienger holds on to his opponent.  Gienger is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Gienger lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Gienger manages to force Perl into the corner.  Gienger lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Gienger lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Perl almost instantly recovers. 
Gienger lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Gienger lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Gienger clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Gienger pushes his forearm into Perl's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Perl throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Gienger hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Gienger sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Gienger gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Gienger lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Gienger lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Gienger manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Gienger lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Gienger drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  Gienger holds on to his opponent.  Gienger leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Gienger uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Perl behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Perl tries to land a cross, but Gienger blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Perl's body.  
Gienger advances into close range and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Gienger holds on to his opponent.  Gienger leans on his opponent using all his weight. Gienger is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Perl steps to the outside and tries to land a jab, but Gienger sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Perl's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Perl's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Gienger connects with a sharp left hook.  
Gienger walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Perl tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Gienger is looking to close the distance and drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  
Gienger hits home with a right hook.  
Gienger digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.  Gienger clinches his opponent.  Gienger leans on his opponent using all his weight. Gienger uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Perl behind the head. Gienger is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Gienger lands two right uppercut's to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Gienger holds on to his opponent.  Gienger is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Gienger drives a right hook into Perl's body.  Gienger attempts to land a right hook, but Perl blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Gienger advances into close range and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Gienger is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Gienger steps inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Gienger lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Gienger ties up his opponent.  Gienger tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Perl behind the head. The ref breaks Gienger's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Gienger digs in a weighty left hook to his opponents liver.  IT LOOKS LIKE PERL WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Perl recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Gienger walks Perl down, trapping him in a corner.  Gienger sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a powerful right uppercut to his opponents body.  PERL HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Perl tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a jab.  
Gienger closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND PERL IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Perl almost instantly recovers. 
Gienger pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Perl dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Gienger lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Gienger steps inside and hits home with a left hook.

Gienger cuts off the ring, trapping Perl on the ropes.  Gienger crashes a DESTRUCTIVE right hook to his opponents body.  PERL HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  THE REF STOPS THE FIGHT!  HE DOES NOT BELIEVE PERL CAN CONTINUE!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Gienger!
