Harper Mehl vs Kabonesa Nalubwama

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at Croke Park, Dublin,  taking place on 16/06/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Harper Mehl (30(26) - 0) who hails from Oslo, Norway and Kabonesa Nalubwama(20 - 17(12) - 1) from Lira, Uganda.  Both Mehl and Nalubwama weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jason Orman, and the three ringside judges are Jason Farrell, Shane Cody and Brandon Madigan.  

Round 1: 

Nalubwama tries to step out of his opponents range.  Mehl lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Mehl steps inside and digs in a forceful left hook to his opponents liver.  NALUBWAMA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Nalubwama recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Mehl drives a solid right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Mehl lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mehl quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a firm cross.  
Mehl advances into close range and forces Nalubwama to retreat onto the ropes.  Mehl lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mehl digs in a right hook to Nalubwama's body.  
Mehl is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Mehl closes the distance.  Mehl pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mehl is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Mehl steps inside.  Nalubwama throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Mehl feints a right hook, and then lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Nalubwama walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Mehl lands a solid jab.  
Nalubwama attempts to land a jab, but Mehl slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mehl steps inside and drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.

Mehl closes the distance.  Nalubwama throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Mehl hits home with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Nalubwama's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Nalubwama's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Nalubwama switches the action to the outside.  Mehl lands a cross.  
Nalubwama tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Mehl closes the distance and digs in a left uppercut to Nalubwama's ribs.  
Mehl sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Mehl closes the distance and manages to force Nalubwama into a neutral corner.  Mehl pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Mehl drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Mehl pivots to the side of his opponent and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Mehl lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Mehl stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Mehl lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS NALUBWAMA SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  It looks like Nalubwama has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Mehl is on target with a solid right hook.  Mehl throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Mehl lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mehl lands a cross.  
Nalubwama finds the target with a jab.  Nalubwama tries to land a jab, but Mehl blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Nalubwama tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Nalubwama connects with a left uppercut.  
Nalubwama snaps his opponents head back with a spiteful jab.  
Mehl gets on the inside.  Nalubwama throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Mehl lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Nalubwama's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Mehl advances into close range and drives a sharp left hook into his opponents ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE NALUBWAMA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Mehl senses Nalubwama is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Mehl lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body, AND SENDS NALUBWAMA TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  Nalubwama now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Nalubwama pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Mehl advances into close range and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mehl lands with a stiff jab.  
Mehl lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  Mehl clinches his opponent.  Nalubwama is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Nalubwama about fouling.  
Mehl digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Mehl drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Mehl holds on to his opponent.  Mehl pushes his forearm into Nalubwama's face.  The referee warns Mehl and breaks the clinch.  
Mehl lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Mehl lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS NALUBWAMA TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Mehl!
