Boxing Daily Report from the James Saint-Claire promoted show at Royal ICC, Brisbane,  taking place on 09/06/2035:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Chris Hewitson (12(7) - 0) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Corey Hall(2 - 6(2)) from Wollongong, Australia.  Both Hewitson and Hall weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zain Sharifi, and the three ringside judges are Paul Phaup, Mark Lockie and John Taggart.  

Round 1: 

Hewitson is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Hewitson ties up his opponent.  Hewitson pushes his forearm into Hall's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Hewitson to stop fouling.  
Hewitson hits home with a solid left hook.  Hewitson clinches his opponent.  Hewitson leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Hewitson's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hewitson closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Hewitson ties up his opponent.  Hewitson leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Hall recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Hewitson lands two left hooks followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Hall drives a cross into Hewitson's body.  
Hewitson lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Hewitson lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body, AND DOWN GOES HALL!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Hewitson holds on to his opponent.  Hewitson leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Hall now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Hall steps to the outside.  Hewitson is on target with a jab.  
Hewitson closes the distance.  Hewitson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Hewitson lands a stinging left hook.  Hewitson clinches his opponent.  Hewitson leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Hall pivots to the side of his opponent.  Hewitson throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Hewitson ties up his opponent.  Hewitson leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Hall is looking to keep his distance.  Hewitson finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Hewitson advances into close range.  Hewitson pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Hewitson connects with a stinging right hook.  
Hewitson lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Hewitson gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Hewitson lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Hewitson is looking to close the distance and lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Hewitson gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Hewitson ties up his opponent.  Hewitson leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Hewitson closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Hewitson lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Hall quickly recovers. 
Hewitson lands a right uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hall's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Hall's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Hall's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Hewitson lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND SENDS HALL SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Hewitson lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Hewitson holds on to his opponent.  Hewitson leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Hewitson to stop holding.  Hall almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Hall is looking to keep his distance.  Hewitson lands with a spiteful jab.  
Hewitson lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Hewitson gets on the inside and manages to force Hall into a corner.  Hewitson drives a stinging left hook into Hall's body.  Hewitson ties up his opponent.  Hewitson is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Hewitson to stop holding.  As Hall tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hewitson dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Hewitson lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Hewitson closes the distance and is on target with a potent right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  HALL IS HURT!  
Hewitson senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Hewitson lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND HALL IS DOWN!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Hewitson!
