Vicente Puerto vs Jun Shi

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Xiaoshan Sports Centre, Hangzhou,  taking place on 27/06/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vicente Puerto (14(8) - 0) who hails from General Trias, Philippines and Jun Shi(15 - 5 - 3) from Quanzhou, China.  Puerto weighed in at 139 pounds and 14 ounces, while Shi weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Quon Ooi, and the three ringside judges are HuiK'o Chee, Lee Shan and Ye Wu.  

Round 1: 

Shi stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Puerto lands a cross.  
Puerto steps inside and is on target with a firm right hook to Shi's ribs.  
Puerto lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DROPS SHI TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Puerto ties up his opponent.  Puerto pushes his forearm into Shi's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Puerto to stop fouling.  Shi almost instantly recovers. 
Puerto advances into close range and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Puerto holds on to his opponent.  Puerto is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Puerto strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Puerto advances into close range.  Puerto sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Puerto drives a stinging right hook into his opponents ribcage.  Puerto holds on to his opponent.  Puerto pushes his forearm into Shi's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Puerto about fouling.  
Puerto gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND SHI IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
It looks like Shi has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Puerto is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Puerto lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Puerto is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Puerto lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS SHI TO THE CANVAS!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Shi can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Puerto!
