Ellis Mapfumo vs Mahdi Chindungwe

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zimbabwe-Bulawayo promoted show at Bulawayo Phiri, Bulawayo,  taking place on 15/06/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Zimbabwe-Bulawayo Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ellis Mapfumo (8 - 4 - 3) who hails from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and Mahdi Chindungwe(15 - 16 - 3) from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.  Both Mapfumo and Chindungwe weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chiamaka Matsikenyeri, and the three ringside judges are Arran Sibanda, Mike Hertzog and Lloyd Chipeta.  

Round 1: 

Mapfumo is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Chindungwe lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Chindungwe advances into close range.  Chindungwe hits home with a left uppercut.  As Chindungwe tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mapfumo dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Chindungwe steps to the outside.  Chindungwe feints a jab, tricking Mapfumo into throwing a right hook counter.  Chindungwe springs the trap and counters with  a left uppercut.  
Mapfumo gets on the inside.  Chindungwe throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

Chindungwe drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.
