Mikio Kubota vs Shin Kanno

Boxing Daily Report from the Sam Promotions promoted show at Fukuoka Kikuchi, Fukuoka,  taking place on 28/06/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Fukuoka Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mikio Kubota (5 - 15(1) - 3) who hails from Fukuoka, Japan and Shin Kanno(6 - 16 - 1) from Fukuoka, Japan.  Kubota weighed in at 147 pounds, while Kanno weighed in at 146 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ryuu Komatsu, and the three ringside judges are Daichi Okabe, Hisao Kamei and Akira Nishimura.  

Round 1: 

Kanno feints a cross, and then tries to land a cross, but Kubota slips the shot and counters with a cross.
