Steven Whittet vs John Blackstock

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Olympic Stadium, Montreal,  taking place on 30/06/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Steven Whittet (5(3) - 0) who hails from Hamilton, Canada and John Blackstock(17(1) - 9(5) - 1) from Winnipeg, Canada.  Whittet weighed in at 126 pounds, while Blackstock weighed in at 125 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Gerard Segalen, and the three ringside judges are Bruce Hathorne, Verrier Luna and Aaron Henry.  

Round 1: 

Blackstock tries to keep the action at long range and throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Whittet advances into close range and is on target with a right uppercut to Blackstock's ribs.  
Whittet lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Whittet strikes his opponents body with a firm cross.

Whittet closes the distance.  Blackstock is on target with a left hook.  
Whittet attempts to land a right hook, but Blackstock blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Whittet lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Whittet attempts to land a right uppercut, but Blackstock sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Blackstock switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Whittet drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  
Whittet is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND BLACKSTOCK IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  Blackstock almost instantly recovers. 
Blackstock pivots to the side of his opponent.  Whittet hits home with a right hook.  Whittet holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Whittet pushes his forearm into Blackstock's face.  The ref breaks Whittet's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Whittet walks Blackstock onto the ropes.  Whittet digs in a sharp left uppercut to Blackstock's ribs.  Whittet ties up his opponent.  Whittet is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Whittet.  
Whittet is on target with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Whittet digs in a stinging right uppercut to Blackstock's body.  
Whittet walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Blackstock attempts to land a left hook, but Whittet sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Whittet is on target with a firm left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Whittet finds the target with a jab.  
Whittet advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Blackstock quickly recovers. 
Blackstock is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Blackstock connects with a cross.  
Blackstock steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Whittet gets on the inside.  Blackstock throws a left hook, but Whittet holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Blackstock pushes his forearm into Whittet's face.  The ref breaks Whittet's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Blackstock steps away from his opponent and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Whittet is looking to close the distance.  Blackstock is on target with a right uppercut.  Blackstock tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Blackstock pivots to the left of his opponent.  Whittet digs in a right hook to Blackstock's body.
