Charles Leiper vs Dillon Cochrane

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Rogers Center, Toronto,  taking place on 03/10/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Canada Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Slim Charles Leiper (32(27) - 3(2)) who hails from Saskatoon, Canada and Dillon Cochrane(15(7) - 1(1)) from Laval, Canada.  Leiper weighed in at 160 pounds, while Cochrane weighed in at 159 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Inigo Bennie, and the three ringside judges are David Mason, Clint Nicolls and Louis Montrose.  

Round 1:

Cochrane advances into close range.  Leiper quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Leiper throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Leiper is looking to keep his distance and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Leiper attempts to land a cross, but Cochrane sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Cochrane walks Leiper down, trapping him on the ropes.  Leiper drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.

Cochrane closes the distance.  Cochrane pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a stinging left uppercut.

The right shot from Leiper could be enough to force the stoppage!  Leiper lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS COCHRANE TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Leiper!
