Joshua Aye vs Geubel Patin

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles,  taking place on 10/10/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joshua Sky Aye (22(14) - 1(1)) who hails from Jacksonville, USA and Geubel Patin(23(6) - 14(7)) from Amsterdam, Netherlands.  Both Aye and Patin weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mike Sander, and the three ringside judges are Sam Lowe, Seth Frith and Dylan Waddell.  

Round 1: 

Patin switches the action to the outside and hits the target with a stinging jab.  
Patin steps away from his opponent and lands a cross.  
Aye steps inside and is on target with a left uppercut to Patin's liver.  
Patin finds the target with a solid jab.  
Aye hits home with a solid left hook.  
Patin tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a cross.

Patin switches the action to the outside and hits home with a stinging overhand right.  
Patin hits the target with a sharp jab.  Patin attempts to land a jab, but Aye sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Aye gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Aye forces Patin to back into the ropes.  Aye lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Aye is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Aye lands a stiff jab.  
Patin tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a ramrod jab.  Patin tries to land a jab, but Aye sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Aye digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Patin lands a right uppercut.  Patin tries to land a jab, but Aye sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Aye advances into close range and attempts to land a right hook, but Patin blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to Aye's ribs.  
Aye lands a cross to the head, a jab to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Patin pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a stinging left hook.  
Patin tries to keep the action at long range.  Aye feints a jab, tricking Patin into launching a left uppercut counter.  Aye springs the trap, countering with  a solid cross.  
Aye forces Patin to retreat onto the ropes.  Aye lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Patin pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Aye lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Patin tries to keep the action at long range and throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Patin's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Aye steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Aye lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Aye forces Patin to back into the ropes.  Aye digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Patin tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.

Aye is looking to close the distance and tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Patin switches the action to the outside and lands a jab.  
Aye gets on the inside and digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents liver.  
Patin steps to the outside and connects with a sharp overhand right.  
Patin tries to land an overhand right, but Aye sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Patin sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with an overhand right.  
Aye manouvers Patin into the corner.  Aye lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Aye lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS PATIN TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Patin is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Aye!
