Pernell Flores vs Ian Gough

Boxing Daily Report from the RJM Boxing promoted show at RJM Des Moines, Des Moines,  taking place on 13/08/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Pernell Flores (10 - 0) who hails from Yaoundé, Cameroon and Ian Gough(1 - 10 - 1) from New York City, USA.  Flores weighed in at 117 pounds and 4 ounces, while Gough weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Charles Mains, and the three ringside judges are Colin Dickins, Nicholas Mower and Isaac Levingston.  

Round 1: 

Flores hits home with a solid cross.  
Flores lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Flores steps inside and digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Flores lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Flores lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Gough goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Flores to the neutral corner.  He tells Gough he will lose a point if he continues to foul.  
Flores sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Flores closes the distance.  Flores sidesteps to the left of his opponent andAs the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Gough dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Gough tries to land a left hook, but Flores sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Flores quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a stinging left uppercut into Gough's body.  
Gough walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Flores is on target with a right uppercut.
