Keka Puhi vs Dave Richards

Boxing Daily Report from the Lionheart Promotions promoted show at Lionheart Gym, North Shore,  taking place on 17/08/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Keka Puhi (1 - 0) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Dave Richards(0 - 1) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Puhi weighed in at 139 pounds and 15 ounces, while Richards weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Justin Patariki, and the three ringside judges are Justin Patariki, Cole Hathorn and Chris Lockard.  

Round 1: 

Puhi advances into close range and lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  Puhi clinches his opponent.  Puhi pushes his forearm into Richards's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Puhi about fouling.  
Puhi steps inside and connects with a sharp right uppercut.  Puhi ties up his opponent.  Puhi hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Puhi drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Puhi ties up his opponent.  Puhi uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Richards behind the head. Puhi leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Puhi connects with a solid right hook.  
Puhi hits home with a stinging left hook.  Puhi clinches his opponent.  Puhi leans on his opponent using all his weight. Puhi tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Richards behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Richards cuts off the ring, trapping Puhi in a corner.  Puhi lands a left hook.  
Richards walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Puhi lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Puhi lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Puhi manages to force Richards into a corner.  Puhi lands a stinging left hook.

Richards steps inside.  Puhi lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Puhi lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Puhi lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Puhi lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Puhi steps inside.  Puhi sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Puhi pivots to the side of his opponent.  As Richards tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Puhi has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.  
Puhi lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Richards's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Richards's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.
