Leon Crafford vs Sam Aitkens

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at Roseland Ballroom, New York City,  taking place on 10/11/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leon Crafford (11(4) - 0) who hails from Calgary, Canada and Sam Aitkens(19 - 9(2) - 6) from Des Moines, USA.  Crafford weighed in at 135 pounds, while Aitkens weighed in at 134 pounds And 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lee King, and the three ringside judges are Gianni Cossutta, Francesco Prosperini and Brad Moad.  

Round 1: 

Crafford lands a cross to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  
Crafford feints a right, and then lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.

Aitkens manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Crafford is on target with a spiteful jab.  
Aitkens closes the distance and throws a left hook, but Crafford ties up his opponent.  Crafford tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Aitkens behind the head. Crafford pushes his forearm into Aitkens's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Crafford lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Aitkens gets on the inside.  Crafford lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Crafford steps away from his opponent.  Crafford sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab to the head, a cross to the body and a jab to the head.  
Crafford lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Crafford lands a spiteful jab.  
Crafford is on target with a sharp cross.  
Aitkens advances into close range and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Aitkens throws a left uppercut, but Crafford clinches his opponent.  Crafford tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Aitkens behind the head. Crafford pushes his forearm into Aitkens's face.  The ref breaks Crafford's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Aitkens closes the distance.  Crafford pivots from in front of his opponent.  Crafford throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Crafford is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Aitkens recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Crafford lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Aitkens manouvers Crafford onto the ropes.  Crafford connects with a firm cross.
