Michael Acuff vs David Kemp

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Michigan promoted show at Detroit Havard, Detroit,  taking place on 07/09/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Michigan Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Acuff (10 - 26 - 5) who hails from Grand Rapids, USA and David Kemp(11(2) - 0 - 1) from Grand Rapids, USA.  Both Acuff and Kemp weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Padon, and the three ringside judges are Bradley Van den Eynde, John Swineford and Nick McGowan.  

Round 1: 

Kemp is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Kemp cuts off the ring, trapping Acuff on the ropes.  Kemp lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Acuff steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a jab.

Kemp steps inside and lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  Kemp attempts to land a right hook, but Acuff sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Kemp wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Acuff dabs at his face checking for damage.
