Umair Hasen vs Spencer Gowen

Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at Melbourne Westwood, Melbourne,  taking place on 17/09/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia-Victoria Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Umair Hasen (10(4) - 7(3)) who hails from Geelong, Australia and Spencer Gowen(18 - 19 - 2) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Hasen and Gowen weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Will Gray, and the three ringside judges are Zach Antonopoulos, Ricky Barfoot and Abdul Sabir.  

Round 1: 

Hasen advances into close range and lands a stinging left hook.  Hasen ties up his opponent.  Hasen is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hasen.  
Hasen attempts to land a right hook, but Gowen sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Hasen lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Hasen ties up his opponent.  Gowen uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Hasen's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Gowen.  
Hasen is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Hasen lands a right uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hasen throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Gowen throws a right uppercut, but Hasen ties up his opponent.  Hasen is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Gowen pivots to the right of his opponent.  Gowen throws a left uppercut, but Hasen ties up his opponent.  Hasen leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Hasen lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Hasen lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hasen lands a left hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Hasen digs in a stinging left uppercut to Gowen's liver.  
Hasen lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Hasen is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Hasen clinches his opponent.  Hasen throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Hasen to stop fouling.  
Hasen lands a right uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Hasen forces Gowen to back into the corner.  Hasen is on target with a firm right uppercut to Gowen's ribs.  
Hasen sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Hasen digs in a left uppercut to Gowen's body.  Hasen clinches his opponent.  Hasen leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Hasen digs in a firm left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Hasen drives a right hook into Gowen's body.  
Hasen digs in a right uppercut to Gowen's ribcage.  
Hasen connects with a right uppercut.  
Hasen lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hasen lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Hasen lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  As Gowen tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hasen dabs at his face checking for damage.

Gowen steps inside.  Hasen is on target with a sharp right uppercut.

Gowen steps inside.  Hasen drives a solid left hook into his opponents liver.  
Gowen attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Hasen's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Hasen manouvers Gowen onto the ropes.  Hasen lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.

Hasen sidesteps to the left of his opponent and slams a mean right uppercut into his opponents body.  GOWEN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Gowen almost instantly recovers.
