Leeroy Gitau vs Kasi Nkya

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Mombasa Koskei, Mombasa,  taking place on 19/09/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya-Mombasa Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leeroy Gitau (5 - 3(1) - 5) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Kasi Nkya(17 - 11 - 7) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Both Gitau and Nkya weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jay Matiku, and the three ringside judges are Sam Yiampoy, Hayden Sakudao and Joey Keino.  

Round 1: 

Gitau steps inside.  Nkya lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Gitau pivots from in front of his opponent.  Nkya connects with a right hook.  
Nkya is looking to close the distance and connects with a right hook.

Gitau is looking to close the distance.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Nkya has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Nkya manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Gitau throws a right hook, but Nkya holds on to his opponent.  Gitau pushes his forearm into Nkya's face.  The ref breaks Nkya's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Gitau connects with a right hook.  
Nkya closes the distance.  Gitau connects with a left uppercut.  
Gitau lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Nkya hits home with a left uppercut.
