Jasper Mulherin vs Paul Stalker

Boxing Daily Report from the Bhengu Promotions promoted show at Louisville Evens, Louisville,  taking place on 19/09/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Kentucky Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jasper Mulherin (12(3) - 6(1)) who hails from Lexington, USA and Paul Stalker(12 - 10(2) - 8) from Louisville, USA.  Mulherin weighed in at 168 pounds, while Stalker weighed in at 167 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Peter Keddie, and the three ringside judges are Dave Stark, Michael Harkins and Matthew Hatt.  

Round 1: 

Stalker closes the distance.  Mulherin lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Stalker throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Mulherin closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  
Mulherin walks his opponent into the corner.  Mulherin pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Mulherin digs in a right uppercut to Stalker's body.  
Mulherin is on target with a right uppercut to Stalker's ribs.  
Mulherin drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Mulherin lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Mulherin lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  Mulherin clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Mulherin pushes his forearm into Stalker's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Mulherin.  
Mulherin drives a forceful left uppercut into his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE STALKER WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Stalker recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Mulherin lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mulherin dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Stalker is looking to close the distance.  Mulherin digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  Mulherin holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Mulherin pushes his forearm into Stalker's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Mulherin to stop fouling.  
Mulherin lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Stalker steps inside.  Stalker pivots from in front of his opponent.  Mulherin lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mulherin drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Stalker lands a left hook.  
Stalker throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Mulherin's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Mulherin drives a right hook into Stalker's ribcage.  
Stalker throws a right hook, but Mulherin holds on to his opponent.  Mulherin is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Stalker's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Stalker's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Mulherin steps inside.  Stalker throws a right uppercut, but Mulherin clinches his opponent.  Mulherin is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mulherin lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Mulherin lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mulherin manages to force Stalker onto the ropes.  Mulherin lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Mulherin closes the distance and digs in a right hook to Stalker's body.

Mulherin walks Stalker down, trapping him in a corner.  Mulherin digs in a firm right uppercut to his opponents body.

Mulherin gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND STALKER IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Mulherin stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Mulherin lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS STALKER TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Stalker now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
