Peter Harp vs Max Rerekura

Boxing Daily Report from the ADR Boxing promoted show at AAMI Park, Melbourne,  taking place on 03/11/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Oceania Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Main Event, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Peter Harp (43(39) - 0 - 1) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Max Rerekura(15 - 6(3) - 3) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Both Harp and Rerekura weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Elmasyan, and the three ringside judges are Stephen MacDougall, James Christou and Sam Luckie.  

Round 1: 

Harp digs in a left hook to Rerekura's body.  
Harp is on target with a firm left hook.  
Harp gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Harp gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Harp is on target with a firm right hook to Rerekura's body.  
Harp lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Rerekura lands a hard jab.  
Harp gets on the inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Rerekura connects with a cross.

Harp slams a HUGE left hook into his opponents body.  REREKURA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Rerekura quickly recovers.

Rerekura attempts to land a cross, but Harp slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Harp closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Harp ties up his opponent.  Harp is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Harp's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Rerekura quickly recovers. 
Harp lands a jab.  
Rerekura tries to land a right hook, but Harp slips the shot and counters with a spiteful left uppercut.  REREKURA IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Rerekura pivots from in front of his opponent.  Harp lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Harp connects with a cross.  
Harp is looking to close the distance and forces Rerekura to back into a corner.  Harp lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Rerekura recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Harp drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Rerekura's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Rerekura's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Harp closes the distance.  Rerekura quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Rerekura throws a left hook, but Harp ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Harp pushes his forearm into Rerekura's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Harp digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Harp lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Harp advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND REREKURA IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 8.  Rerekura quickly recovers. 
Harp lands a stinging cross.  
Harp lands a jab to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Rerekura quickly recovers. 
Rerekura walks Harp onto the ropes.  Rerekura pivots to the side of his opponent.  Harp lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Harp drives a powerful right uppercut into Rerekura's body.  REREKURA IS HURT!  Rerekura recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Harp steps inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Rerekura dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Harp drives a firm left hook into his opponents body.  
Harp is on target with a solid jab.  
Rerekura lands with a spiteful jab.  
Harp steps inside.  Rerekura tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a BRUTAL left uppercut.  REREKURA HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 7.  
Harp gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head, KNOCKING REREKURA DOWN!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Rerekura can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Harp!
