Quadrees Nkansah vs Waqas Azimi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Ashanti promoted show at Kumasi Akamenya, Kumasi,  taking place on 03/10/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Quadrees Nkansah (16 - 19 - 6) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Waqas Azimi(18 - 6 - 3) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Nkansah weighed in at 121 pounds and 12 ounces, while Azimi weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zachary Yeboah, and the three ringside judges are Lamech Duncan, Andy Salawu and Noah Asante.  

Round 1: 

Nkansah drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Nkansah throws a right hook, but Azimi clinches his opponent.  Azimi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Azimi.  
Azimi is on target with a right hook.  
Azimi gets on the inside.  Nkansah lands a left hook.  
Azimi gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Nkansah lands a left hook.  
Azimi throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot.  Azimi holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Nkansah's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Azimi's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Azimi's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Azimi throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Nkansah advances into close range.  Azimi sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Nkansah gets on the inside.  Azimi drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Nkansah advances into close range and throws a left hook, but Azimi clinches his opponent.  Azimi uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Nkansah's kidney. The ref breaks Azimi's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Azimi hits home with a right hook.  
Azimi throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Nkansah lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Azimi digs in a left hook to Nkansah's ribs.

Nkansah walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Azimi is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
