Mark Dempsey vs Ju-young Choi

Boxing Daily Report from the Pacific and Andean Promotions promoted show at Townsville RSL Stadium, Townsville,  taking place on 20/10/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Dempsey (9(6) - 1) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Ju-young Choi(20 - 18(3) - 5) from Busan, South Korea.  Both Dempsey and Choi weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Glynn Profit, and the three ringside judges are Giorgio Lombardo, Paul Phaup and Mark Elgin.  

Round 1: 

Dempsey hits the target with a hard jab.  
Dempsey quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Dempsey lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Dempsey lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Dempsey finds the target with a sharp jab.  
Dempsey lands an overhand right to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Dempsey pivots to the right of his opponent and lands with a sharp jab.  
Choi is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Dempsey is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Dempsey connects with a solid right hook.  Dempsey holds on to his opponent.  Dempsey is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Dempsey and breaks the clinch.  
Dempsey steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Dempsey lands a stinging jab.  
Dempsey is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Dempsey switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Dempsey lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Dempsey is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Dempsey feints a right hook, and then hits home with a hard jab.  
Dempsey switches the action to the outside.  Dempsey feints a left hook, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Dempsey finds the target with a jab.  
Dempsey lands a straight 1 - 2.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Choi quickly recovers. 
Dempsey lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Choi almost instantly gets his legs back. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Choi's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Choi's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Choi's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Dempsey steps away from his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Dempsey connects with a solid right uppercut.  Dempsey holds on to his opponent.  Choi uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Dempsey's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Dempsey switches the action to the outside and lands two jabs followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Dempsey lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Dempsey lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  Dempsey ties up his opponent.  Dempsey throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Dempsey tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Choi behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Choi closes the distance.  Dempsey lands a firm right uppercut.  
Dempsey is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Choi almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Dempsey tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Dempsey tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a solid jab.  
Dempsey lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Dempsey is on target with an overhand left.  
Dempsey tries to keep the action at long range and snaps his opponents head back with a hard jab.

Choi walks Dempsey down, trapping him on the ropes.  Dempsey is on target with a jab to his opponents body.
