Bob Mutasa vs Mykelti Madhuku

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zimbabwe-Bulawayo promoted show at Large City Hall, Bulawayo,  taking place on 07/10/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Zimbabwe Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Bob Mutasa (28(22) - 5(2) - 1) who hails from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe and Mykelti Madhuku(21(15) - 5(4) - 1) from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.  Mutasa weighed in at 140 pounds, while Madhuku weighed in at 139 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Matt Quilliam, and the three ringside judges are Cody Kumbula, Matt Quilliam and Billy Mpofu.  

Round 1: 

Madhuku is on target with a cross.  
Mutasa lands a stiff jab.

Mutasa lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Madhuku attempts to land a jab, but Mutasa blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Madhuku advances into close range and is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  Madhuku throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a FEARSOME cross.  MADHUKU WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Mutasa thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Madhuku away.  Mutasa lands a right uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND MADHUKU IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  It looks like Madhuku has now recovered from that shot earlier.

Madhuku advances into close range.  Mutasa tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Madhuku lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Madhuku throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Madhuku is on target with a left hook.  
Madhuku steps inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Mutasa is on target with a left hook.  Mutasa attempts to land a left hook, but Madhuku sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Madhuku closes the distance.  Madhuku pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a left uppercut.  
Madhuku manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Mutasa hits home with a firm left hook.  
Mutasa throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook to Mutasa's liver.  
Madhuku is looking to close the distance.  Mutasa is on target with a potent right hook.  MADHUKU IS HURT!  
Mutasa switches the action to the outside.  Some sustained pressure from Mutasa could be enough to finish Madhuku!  Mutasa lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, DROPPING MADHUKU TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Madhuku now seems to have got his legs back.  
Mutasa steps to the outside and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Mutasa lands a cross.  
Madhuku gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Madhuku throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Mutasa lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  Mutasa tries to land a left hook, but Madhuku sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Madhuku advances into close range and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Madhuku throws a left uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Madhuku attempts to land a left hook, but Mutasa slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Mutasa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Madhuku is on target with a firm right uppercut.  
Mutasa is looking to keep his distance and lands a straight 1 - 2, AND MADHUKU IS DOWN!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Madhuku can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Mutasa!
