Steven Quijas vs Irfan Matar

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Texas promoted show at El Maida Shrine Auditorium, El Paso,  taking place on 06/10/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Texas Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Steven Quijas (9 - 4 - 2) who hails from Dallas, USA and Irfan Matar(19 - 20(1) - 1) from Austin, USA.  Quijas weighed in at 147 pounds, while Matar weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ian Hesson, and the three ringside judges are Sean Richards, Faisal Rasul and Danny Henderson.
