Vicente Fidel vs Ponce Sotelo

Boxing Daily Report from the Sowah Promotions promoted show at Xalvador Paula Gym, Maracaibo,  taking place on 06/10/2035:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Venezuela-Zulia Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vicente Fidel (8 - 15 - 4) who hails from Maracaibo, Venezuela and Ponce Sotelo(8 - 1) from Maracaibo, Venezuela.  Both Fidel and Sotelo weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Herrero, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Sastre, Alejandro Blando and Juan Velazquez.  

Round 1: 

Sotelo advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Sotelo lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
