Jose Colon vs Azam Abdi

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Ridder Arena, Minneapolis,  taking place on 17/10/2035:

Clearly Showtime Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MSG Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jose Colon (22(14) - 0) who hails from Santo Domingo Norte, Dominican Republic and Azam Abdi(27(2) - 10(5)) from Phoenix, USA.  Colon weighed in at 248 pounds and 12 ounces, while Abdi weighed in at 239 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Nathan Langer, and the three ringside judges are Charlie Genz, Ian Soderberg and Ian Soderberg.

Colon is on target with a stinging left uppercut to Abdi's liver.  ABDI WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Colon senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Colon lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND ABDI IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Abdi now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Colon steps inside and lands two left hook's to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Abdi lands a sharp jab.  
Colon gets on the inside.  Colon is looking to force the stoppage!  Colon lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS ABDI TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Abdi has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Abdi connects with a left hook.  
Abdi tries to land a jab, but Colon dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Abdi drives a solid jab into his opponents face.  
Colon advances into close range and is on target with a right hook.  
Colon crashes a DESTRUCTIVE right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  ABDI IS DOWN!  THE REF DOES NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THE COUNT...HE'S SEEN ENOUGH AND HAS STOPPED THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Colon!
