Zenon Paredes vs Sagaz Miers

Boxing Daily Report from the Pacific and Andean Promotions promoted show at Teatro Caupolican, Santiago,  taking place on 03/11/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Chile Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports Chile, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Zenon Paredes (16(10) - 1) who hails from Las Condes, Chile and Sagaz Miers(7 - 8) from Valparaiso, Chile.  Both Paredes and Miers weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Angel Lebron, and the three ringside judges are Lisandro Lozada, Rio Fallas and Ovidio Barco.  

Round 1: 

Paredes advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  Paredes holds on to his opponent.  Paredes throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Paredes closes the distance.  Paredes pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Paredes quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into Miers's body.

Miers throws a left hook, but Paredes clinches his opponent.  Paredes is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Paredes about fouling.
