Chris Weems vs James Weir

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Brisbane,  taking place on 27/10/2035:

Clearly Gold Coast Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Queensland Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Weems (4 - 9(2) - 2) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and James Weir(6(2) - 2(1) - 2) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Weems and Weir weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Westwood, and the three ringside judges are Richie Higgins, Ian Corrie and Seth Urbano.  

Round 1: 

Weems pivots to the right of his opponent.  Weems throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.
