Joe Doyle vs Dale Trimble

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Brisbane,  taking place on 27/10/2035:

Clearly Gold Coast Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia-Queensland Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joe Doyle (6 - 5 - 3) who hails from Cairns, Australia and Dale Trimble(10(9) - 1(1)) from Brisbane, Australia.  Both Doyle and Trimble weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Corrie, and the three ringside judges are Richie Higgins, James Westwood and Seth Urbano.  

Round 1: 

Doyle throws a right uppercut, but Trimble ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Trimble pushes his forearm into Doyle's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Trimble drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.  
Trimble pivots to the right of his opponent.  Trimble throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Trimble ties up his opponent.  Trimble is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Trimble.  
Trimble walks Doyle down, trapping him on the ropes.  Trimble pivots to the side of his opponent.  Trimble tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Doyle lands a right hook.  Doyle tries to land a right hook, but Trimble slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Trimble lands two left hooks followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Trimble senses Doyle is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Trimble lands two left uppercuts to the body, and one to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head, AND SENDS DOYLE TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Trimble!
