Marcus Forsyth vs James McColgan

Boxing Daily Report from the Ecosse Boxing promoted show at Edinburgh Brannon, Edinburgh,  taking place on 18/10/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the British-Scotland Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Marcus Forsyth (21(7) - 10(3) - 1) who hails from Edinburgh, UK and James McColgan(17 - 12(1) - 2) from Glasgow, UK.  Forsyth weighed in at 160 pounds, while McColgan weighed in at 159 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Patrick McBeth, and the three ringside judges are James Matthew, Robert Priddy and David MacInnes.  

Round 1: 

Forsyth is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Forsyth closes the distance and hits home with a right hook.  Forsyth throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
McColgan is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Forsyth hits home with a cross.  
McColgan attempts to land an overhand right, but Forsyth sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Forsyth walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Forsyth connects with a sharp right uppercut.  
Forsyth lands a firm cross.  
Forsyth advances into close range and manages to force McColgan into the corner.  Forsyth lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Forsyth closes the distance and whips in a mean left hook to his opponents body.  DOWN GOES MCCOLGAN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  It looks like McColgan has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Forsyth gets on the inside.  Forsyth pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS MCCOLGAN DOWN!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Forsyth!
