Fraser Laxa vs Joel Malcomb

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Guangzhou International Sports Arena, Guangzhou,  taking place on 17/11/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Starsports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Fraser Laxa (15(13) - 1(1)) who hails from Taguig, Philippines and Joel Malcomb(27(6) - 9(4) - 2) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Both Laxa and Malcomb weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Uang Tso, and the three ringside judges are Hui-chao Jeung, Liang Ko and Shing Jou.  

Round 1: 

Laxa feints a cross, and then lands an overhand right.

Malcomb steps inside and lands a right uppercut.  Laxa holds on to his opponent.  Malcomb leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Laxa pushes his forearm into Malcomb's face.  The referee warns Laxa and breaks the clinch.  
Malcomb cuts off the ring, trapping Laxa on the ropes.  Laxa hits home with a firm right uppercut.  
Malcomb lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Malcomb dabs at his face checking for damage.
