Bruce Noah vs Cody McElligott

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Washington promoted show at Hugh Lockart Gym, Tacoma,  taking place on 22/10/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Washington Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bruce Noah (8 - 13 - 5) who hails from Tacoma, USA and Cody McElligott(8 - 6 - 1) from Seattle, USA.  Both Noah and McElligott weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oliver Hines, and the three ringside judges are Jack Balch, Cole Cassel and David Shank.  

Round 1: 

McElligott lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
McElligott pivots to the left of his opponent.  McElligott tries to land a left hook, but Noah sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Noah is looking to close the distance.  McElligott lands a left hook.  
McElligott tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with an overhand right.  
Noah gets on the inside and hits home with a right uppercut.

Noah lands a left hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to McElligott.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
