Kai Maddex vs Joshua Alison

Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at Capital FM Arena, Nottingham,  taking place on 29/11/2035:

Clearly Kurusu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Central England Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are The Throne-Breaker Kai Maddex (49(11) - 2(1)) who hails from Leicester, UK and Joshua Alison(11 - 13(5) - 2 - 1(NC)) from Leicester, UK.  Both Maddex and Alison weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aftab Bilal, and the three ringside judges are Robert Bevans, Barry Dower and Scott Dunn.  

Round 1: 

Maddex gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Maddex holds on to his opponent.  Maddex pushes his forearm into Alison's face.  The ref breaks Maddex's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
