Vidal Davalos vs Diego Gimenez

Boxing Daily Report from the Burja Promotions promoted show at Santo Domingo de Guz Mandujano, Santo Domingo de Guzman,  taking place on 23/10/2035:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Dominican Republic-Distrito Nacional Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vidal Davalos (22(4) - 8 - 1) who hails from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic and Diego Gimenez(16 - 16(3) - 4) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Both Davalos and Gimenez weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Sahagun, and the three ringside judges are Olindo Cruzado, Paco Cantero and Carlos Menendez.  

Round 1: 

Gimenez is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to Gimenez's ribs.  
Davalos walks Gimenez down, trapping him in the corner.  Davalos lands a hard jab.
