Nao Taketa vs Takeo Ide

Boxing Daily Report from the Sumito Urayama's KO Kings promoted show at Fukuoka Dome, Fukuoka,  taking place on 17/11/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TBS, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Nao Jikan Taketa (20(16) - 4(1) - 1) who hails from Hamamatsu, Japan and Takeo Ide(34 - 10(5) - 1) from Fukuyama, Japan.  Both Taketa and Ide weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Iwao Kusumoto, and the three ringside judges are Hisao Kamei, Aki Nishimoto and Isamu Kawai.  

Round 1: 

Ide gets on the inside.  Taketa lands a stinging right uppercut.  Taketa ties up his opponent.  Ide is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Ide and breaks the clinch.  
Taketa steps to the outside.  Ide is on target with a cross.  
Taketa lands a straight 1 - 2.  He then lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Ide gets on the inside.  Taketa lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Ide lands a cross.  Ide attempts to land an overhand left, but Taketa dodges the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Taketa feints a jab, but Ide ignores the feint and lands with a cross.  
Ide walks Taketa onto the ropes.  Taketa lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a jab to the head.  
Taketa switches the action to the outside and is on target with an overhand right.  
Taketa tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab to Ide's body.  
Ide hits home with a cross.  
Ide manages to force Taketa onto the ropes.  Taketa connects with a left hook.  
Ide is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Taketa is on target with a spiteful jab.  
Taketa attempts to land a jab, but Ide slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Taketa lands a left hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Taketa's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Ide's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Ide's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Ide throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a SAVAGE cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE IDE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Ide almost instantly gets his legs back.

He waves off the fight!  The winner by TKO is Taketa!
