Takeshi Takara vs Naoki Shimizu

Boxing Daily Report from the Paintsil Promotions promoted show at Iwao Takashima Gym, Matsudo,  taking place on 27/10/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Chiba Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Takeshi Takara (10 - 15(5) - 4) who hails from Chiba, Japan and Naoki Shimizu(4 - 13(1) - 5) from Chiba, Japan.  Both Takara and Shimizu weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Akira Oshita, and the three ringside judges are Mikio Gima, Akira Kamei and Kazuhiko Sakaguchi.  

Round 1: 

Takara hits home with a right uppercut.  
Shimizu digs in a right uppercut to Takara's body.

Shimizu gets on the inside.  Takara pivots to the left of his opponent.  Shimizu connects with a left hook.  Shimizu wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Takara dabs at his face checking for damage.
