Barry Naituli vs Peter Macgoye

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nairobi promoted show at Haaris Haque Gym, Nairobi,  taking place on 28/10/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Barry Naituli (21 - 1) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Peter Macgoye(11 - 16 - 1) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Naituli weighed in at 130 pounds, while Macgoye weighed in at 129 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Faisal Shaheen, and the three ringside judges are Chris Birir, Rex Odhieng and Sam Waiyaki.  

Round 1: 

Macgoye closes the distance.  Naituli is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Macgoye dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Macgoye.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
