Mikio Hora vs Kenji Uchida

Boxing Daily Report from the Katembula Promotions promoted show at Shizuoka Osada, Shizuoka,  taking place on 29/10/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Shizuoka Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mikio Hora (19(4) - 14(2) - 1 - 1(NC)) who hails from Fuji, Japan and Kenji Uchida(5 - 8(1) - 1) from Shizuoka, Japan.  Both Hora and Uchida weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kei Katayama, and the three ringside judges are Fumio Hirano, Hisao Kawano and Aki Isa.  

Round 1: 

Hora quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a solid jab.  
Uchida hits home with a right uppercut.  
Hora lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Uchida quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Uchida throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Hora gets on the inside.  Hora quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Hora is on target with a right hook to Uchida's ribs.  
Hora is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Uchida throws a right hook, but Hora ties up his opponent.  Hora leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Hora lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Hora feints a jab, but Uchida ignores the feint and lands with a left uppercut.  
Hora lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Uchida is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Hora is on target with a cross.  
Hora closes the distance and drives a sharp left hook into his opponents liver.  
Hora crashes a hurtful right hook to his opponents body.  UCHIDA IS HURT!  
Hora stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Hora lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS UCHIDA SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Uchida now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Hora gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Hora lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Uchida's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Uchida's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Hora advances into close range and drives a telling left hook into Uchida's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE UCHIDA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Uchida recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Hora lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hora lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Hora steps inside and walks Uchida down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Hora digs in a firm right hook to Uchida's body.

Hora advances into close range.  Uchida pivots from in front of his opponent.  Uchida throws a left hook, but Hora clinches his opponent.  Hora is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Hora and breaks the clinch.

Hora attempts to land a left hook, but Uchida blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Hora lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Uchida quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Hora drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Hora drives a firm right hook into Uchida's ribs.  
Hora lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Hora advances into close range and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Hora is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Hora whips in a nasty right hook to his opponents body.  UCHIDA IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 9.  It looks like Uchida has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
