Ramirez Ponce vs Gonzalo Montalbo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Nuevo Leon promoted show at San Nicolas de los G Espino, San Nicolas de los Garza,  taking place on 29/10/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Nuevo Leon Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ramirez Ponce (20 - 16 - 3) who hails from Ciudad Apodaca, Mexico and Gonzalo Montalbo(10 - 16 - 4) from Monterrey, Mexico.  Ponce weighed in at 154 pounds, while Montalbo weighed in at 154 pounds and 14 ounces.    As Montalbo came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Guido Castilla, and the three ringside judges are Cortez Gloria, Frisco Maya and Emilio Venegas.
