Angel Asencio vs Esteban Merida

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Manabi promoted show at Marco Ventura Gym, Manta,  taking place on 28/10/2035:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ecuador-Manabi Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Angel Asencio (17 - 7(1) - 9) who hails from Portoviejo, Ecuador and Esteban Merida(14(9) - 1) from Manta, Ecuador.  Both Asencio and Merida weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vidal Banos, and the three ringside judges are Dario Cruz, Gervasio Arroyo and Vicente Robaina.
