Kalidas Prakash vs Karan Merkondar

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Tamil Nadu promoted show at Rohit Havanur Gym, Chennai,  taking place on 30/10/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the India-Tamil Nadu Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TEN Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kalidas Prakash (13(7) - 4(2)) who hails from Chennai, India and Karan Merkondar(6 - 5 - 1) from Chennai, India.  Prakash weighed in at 126 pounds, while Merkondar weighed in at 125 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Girish Mehra, and the three ringside judges are Madhav Kamdar, Girish Mehra and Aftab Dia.  

Round 1: 

Merkondar steps away from his opponent.  Prakash lands a straight 1 - 2.
