Hope Lamidi vs Ricky Dikko

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-FCT promoted show at Abuja Chiedozie, Abuja,  taking place on 31/10/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-FCT Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hope Lamidi (14 - 22(1) - 5) who hails from Abuja, Nigeria and Ricky Dikko(11 - 4(1)) from Abuja, Nigeria.  Lamidi weighed in at 235 pounds and 3 ounces, while Dikko weighed in at 255 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bright Madaki, and the three ringside judges are Declan Bajah, Shehu Datti and Declan Bajah.  

Round 1: 

Dikko is looking to keep his distance and connects with an overhand left.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Lamidi.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Dikko is on target with a left uppercut to Lamidi's body.  
Dikko steps away from his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Lamidi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross.
