Garrin Apt vs Mitsuru Kaneko

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hyogo promoted show at Kobe Onaga, Kobe,  taking place on 01/11/2035:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Garrin Apt (24(20) - 0) who hails from Bochum, Germany and Mitsuru Kaneko(2 - 1) from Sakai, Japan.  Both Apt and Kaneko weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kazuhiko Sugita, and the three ringside judges are Yuji Muramoto, Kyo Maekawa and Daiki Ose.  

Round 1: 

Apt steps inside and is on target with a firm right hook.  
Apt is on target with a sharp cross.  
Apt gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Apt ties up his opponent.  Apt is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Kaneko pivots to the side of his opponent.  Apt lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Apt clinches his opponent.  Apt hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks Apt's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Apt forces Kaneko to retreat into a corner.  Apt pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Apt lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Apt lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Apt holds on to his opponent.  Apt uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Kaneko behind the head. 
Apt sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a sharp cross.  
Apt gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to Kaneko's body.  
Kaneko throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Apt lands a VICIOUS left uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE KANEKO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Kaneko almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Apt lands with a stinging jab.  
Apt is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Apt lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Apt connects with a FEARSOME cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE KANEKO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Apt attempts to land a left hook, but Kaneko slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Apt's body.  Kaneko recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Apt advances into close range and hits home with a left hook.  
Apt is on target with a stinging left uppercut to Kaneko's body.  
Apt hits home with a left uppercut.  
Apt drives a left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
Apt is on target with a left hook to Kaneko's body.  
Kaneko gets on the inside.  Apt lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Apt gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Apt digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Apt hits home with a cross.  
Kaneko closes the distance.  Apt is on target with a solid left hook.  
Apt lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Apt holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Apt pushes his forearm into Kaneko's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Apt.  
Apt lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Apt lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Apt feints a left hook, and then lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Apt gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  Apt throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Apt lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He then lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Apt ties up his opponent.  Apt leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Apt's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Kaneko quickly recovers. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kaneko's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Kaneko's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Kaneko's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Kaneko gets on the inside.  Apt lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Apt hits home with a left hook.  
Apt lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Apt lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Kaneko almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Apt steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Apt drives a stinging right hook into Kaneko's ribs.  
Apt digs in a powerful left hook to his opponents ribs.  KANEKO IS HURT!  Kaneko almost instantly recovers. 
Apt lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Apt lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Apt knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Apt lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, DROPPING KANEKO TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Kaneko cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Apt!
