John Markey vs Alastair Sheriff

Boxing Daily Report from the T Promotion promoted show at Oklahoma City McAllister, Oklahoma City,  taking place on 30/10/2035:

Clearly T Promotion have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Oklahoma Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Markey (14 - 14 - 10) who hails from Oklahoma City, USA and Alastair Sheriff(7 - 17 - 6) from Oklahoma City, USA.  Both Markey and Sheriff weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Brownlee, and the three ringside judges are Kenzie McCleese, Hamish McCallum and Roger Newburn.  

Round 1: 

Sheriff pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a right hook into Markey's body.  
Markey is on target with a cross.  
Markey gets on the inside and connects with a left hook.

Sheriff advances into close range.  Sheriff pivots to the right of his opponent andAs the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Markey has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Markey switches the action to the outside and connects with a cross.

Sheriff pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut to Markey's ribcage.  As Sheriff tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Markey dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Sheriff advances into close range and digs in a right hook to Markey's ribs.  
Markey connects with a right hook.
