Noah Samson vs John Ferrier

Boxing Daily Report from the Bones promoted show at Louis XVI Suite at The Waldorf-Astoria, New York City,  taking place on 06/11/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-New York State Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Noah Samson (18 - 22 - 2) who hails from New York City, USA and John Ferrier(14 - 29(3) - 5) from New York City, USA.  Both Samson and Ferrier weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Daniel Leask, and the three ringside judges are Mike Robb, John Trivelli and Sam Calderwood.  

Round 1: 

Ferrier connects with an overhand right.  
Samson tries to keep the action at long range.  Ferrier is on target with a cross.  
Samson throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Samson throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Ferrier advances into close range and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Samson goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Ferrier time to recover.  
Ferrier lands a right hook.  
Samson is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Ferrier is on target with a right hook.

Samson tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land a cross, but Ferrier sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.
