Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ukraine-Poltava Oblast promoted show at Poltava Barnick, Poltava,  taking place on 05/11/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ukraine-Poltava Oblast Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Toma Kolyvanov (12 - 15(1) - 3) who hails from Poltava, Ukraine and Dimi Bayuk(7(3) - 1) from Poltava, Ukraine.  Both Kolyvanov and Bayuk weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sasha Zalesky, and the three ringside judges are Vanko Yurkovich, Vikenti Malko and Aleksei Adamovich.  

Round 1: 

Bayuk steps inside and drives a solid left hook into Kolyvanov's body.  
Bayuk throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot.  Bayuk ties up his opponent.  Bayuk pushes his forearm into Kolyvanov's face.  The referee warns Bayuk and breaks the clinch.

Kolyvanov tries to keep the action at long range and tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Bayuk advances into close range and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Bayuk clinches his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Bayuk drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Bayuk lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Bayuk holds on to his opponent.  Bayuk leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Bayuk pushes his forearm into Kolyvanov's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Bayuk to stop fouling.  
Kolyvanov goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Bayuk time to recover.

Kolyvanov is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a jab.

Kolyvanov sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Bayuk hits home with a stiff jab.  
Bayuk is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Bayuk gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  Bayuk ties up his opponent.  Bayuk leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Bayuk lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Bayuk is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  KOLYVANOV WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Bayuk cuts off the ring, trapping Kolyvanov in the corner.  Bayuk stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Bayuk lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  He then lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  It looks like Kolyvanov has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Kolyvanov throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Bayuk lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Bayuk lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, KNOCKING KOLYVANOV DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  Kolyvanov almost instantly recovers. 
Bayuk lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Bayuk manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Bayuk lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Kolyvanov quickly recovers. 
Bayuk digs in a firm right hook to his opponents body.  
Bayuk lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Bayuk digs in a solid right hook to his opponents ribs.  Bayuk holds on to his opponent.  Bayuk leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Bayuk knows Kolyvanov is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Bayuk lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND KOLYVANOV IS DOWN!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Bayuk!
