Deshi Tay vs Michi Jo

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Suzhou Sports Center Stadium, Suzhou,  taking place on 01/12/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Starsports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Deshi Tay (17(13) - 0) who hails from Quanzhou, China and Michi Ashita No Jo(42(12) - 18(13) - 1) from Nagoya, Japan.  Both Tay and Jo weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Wu-pen Tsao, and the three ringside judges are Gao Zhong, Gao Jo and Liko Shih.  

Round 1: 

Tay closes the distance.  Tay pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.

Tay is on target with a stinging left hook to Jo's body.  Tay tries to land a left uppercut, but Jo sidesteps and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Tay is on target with a solid cross.  
Tay pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents ribcage.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Tay dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Tay.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
