Cruz Cortinas vs Jose Picano

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Estadio Libertador Simon Bolivar, La Paz,  taking place on 12/11/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Cruz Cortinas (6(3) - 0) who hails from Naucalpan, Mexico and Jose Picano(4 - 2(1)) from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia.  Cortinas weighed in at 105 pounds, while Picano weighed in at 104 pounds And 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Fausto Pichon, and the three ringside judges are Nicandro Ciprian, Berto Rosales and Santiago Baca.

Cortinas lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Picano recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Cortinas drives a potent right hook into Picano's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE PICANO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Picano almost instantly recovers. 
Cortinas sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Cortinas digs in a right hook to Picano's body.  
Cortinas sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a FIERCE left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE PICANO WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Cortinas wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Picano dabs at his face checking for damage.  Picano recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Cortinas lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES PICANO!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.
