Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Rogers Center, Toronto,  taking place on 24/01/2036:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Canada Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Long John Gurganus (36(28) - 2(1)) who hails from Markham, Canada and Valentin Beaufort(26(5) - 12(6)) from Montreal, Canada.  Gurganus weighed in at 168 pounds, while Beaufort weighed in at 167 pounds And 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dave Brown, and the three ringside judges are Mark Nixon, Sean Killin and Mel Esau.

He then lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND BEAUFORT IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Beaufort now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.

He beats the count, getting up at 7.  He holds his fists up but stumbles into the referee! Beaufort doesn't look like he's recovered at all.  The ref seems to thinks so as well...he's signalling that the fight is over!  The winner by TKO is Gurganus!
